0074 The Stampede [23 August 1997]

Muscles surging,
power blooming,
as the lightning crackled,
and the thunder deafening.

A myriad of color,
of sweat and blood,
all trying to get away
from whatever ghost
that chased them.

Hooves throwing rocks,
dust.
Flying over the hills,
and leaping over gullies.

What chased them?
What scared them so?
So much they trample
their own in fear.
