0226 Good Night, Sleep Tight [1998]

Chorus: Good night, sleep tight
Don’t let the bedbugs bite.
She told me that one night
When Daddy slept somewhere else tight.

I grew up in a small town,
Where everyone knew everyone,
And that one fateful summer
Turned all eyes onto our house.

When yelling and screaming
Seemed to echo throughout
Our little town
And the walls of the canyons.

Then one day,
When the heat was 102
I came home from playing
And peeked into the house.

Everything but half was gone,
Daddy’s car was missing
From the garage.
