342 For You [23 September 2000]

In this age of computers and cell phones,
I meet you.
Someone whose heart
cries out for mine.
I hear it from across the world.
I know you exist and you are real,
but do you exist?
Doubts enter my mind,
my heart fearing that you
are just another dream,
another figment
of my imagination.
Yet my heart keeps the faith
that you will come to me.
Thank god for this way to reach you,
to talk with you,
to know you are there,
waiting.
Thousands of miles and across oceans
I will find you here now,
tomorrow or next week.
I will know it is you
just by your smile,
the way you make me feel.
