343 The Waters of You[23 September 2000]

Tears come unbidden,
washing my face,
clearing my heart,
filling me with hope.
I see you standing there
looking in my eyes,
a great happiness cascades over me
like a waterfall
soaking me with this love.
I lift my face to the downpour
feeling it in my skin,
in my soul.
I drown myself in you,
tasting,
drinking,
existing.
It’s incredible,
the torrent of this emotion.
The way I let myself flow downstream,
letting the waters carry me
to wherever you are.
I know it’s crazy.
I always believed you would come.
I always doubted that you would,
but here you are,
smiling down at me,
taking my lips with yours,
plunging me ever deeper
into that ocean that is you.
Love me forever,
leave me never.
