351 In the Memory of This Mind [05 November 2000]

In the memory of this mind,
I see you there lying next to me.
Your arms wrapped around me,
your heart wrapped around my soul.
I see your beautiful eyes open,
the smile there.
Once again I am lost to this need,
this need of you,
here with me.

In the memory of this mind,
you are there,
walking through that door,
shining like a god
smiling over his believers.
I was reluctant to have faith,
yet you showed me who you really were.

In the memory of this mind,
I remember a time where I was lost.
Seeking something I could not find,
but what was finally found in you.
A peace never known before,
a silence of the turmoil
in my troubled soul.
