395 Your Laughter [24 March 2001]

I drown
once more
in the oceans
that are your eyes
beautiful liquid windows
to your secret place
where your soul resides
your laughter
fills my heart
as it echoes
from around me
and across the world
the cadences I know
as if they were the beating
of my heart
