If tomorrow I could awaken
to find you beside me,
then would I be whole.
No longer pieces held together
by my own strength,
but held by you.
No more lonely, sleepless nights,
only bright, beautiful mornings
no matter the time of year,
or kind of weather.
If only in my arms I would find you,
I would sing you my song
so forever you knew how much I love you.
For my love transcends time, space, and life.
I would have given my heart
to anyone who wanted it
yet it seems fate has kept me for you,
for with you my heart and soul shall reside.
