599 Without [17 March 2004]

“Miles to go before I sleep.”
This credo I live by
for sleep cannot be an option
for this weary heart of mine.
I stumble through the days,
time chasing me,
love passing by
without a second glance,
I continue on,
with “Miles to go before I sleep.”
