648 Never Meant to Be [15 October 2004]

This emotion was never meant to be
It birthed itself upon a heart and soul
Satisfied to be in a solitude all their own
Feet move themselves
Heart holds back
Confession made
All emotion rescinded
Replaced with a fear
Avoidance
She loved him so
Holding it in check
To keep her heart from pain
Only to realize too late
The pain may have been deeper
Because of this choice
Will she ever win?
