Author’s note: Hi folks, a new poem! It’s been a while since I posted a new piece. This one is fresh from tonight. As always, critique is welcome.
Just the sound of his voice
and my body responds,
a wave crashing against my walled desire.
Just a touch of his hand
might undo me,
melting the glacier inside.
Just the smell of him close
would bring need long denied
to the surface of my inner tempest.
Just the sight of his skin
would break me free
from the frozen shores of my emotions.
Just a taste of his desire
riding hard against me,
would loose the tsunami of my heart.
